OAuth connectors use customer authorization. API/enterprise connectors use server-side credentials. NIV never puts provider secrets in the browser.
Activation rule: the integration code is installed now. A connector becomes live only after its provider credentials are stored securely in AWS SSM Parameter Store and the customer authorizes its account. Enterprise systems can also use a customer-specific API gateway or custom API connector.
